17 år gamle Christy blir kastet ut av fosterhjemmet og flytter inn hos sin halvbror i en drabantby utenfor Cork i Irland. Men halvbroren, som selv er nybakt far, strever med å gi plass og ønsker helst å få Christy inn på et ungdomshjem. Midt i usikkerheten oppdager Christy en ny form for støtte i nabolaget rundt seg.

Two brothers who lost touch after a troubled childhood suddenly find themselves living under the same roof. Now they must come to terms with the past and make decisions about the future.

17-year-old Christy is kicked out of his foster home and moves in with his half-brother in a suburb outside Cork, Ireland. But his half-brother, a new father himself, struggles to make room for Christy and would rather see him placed in a youth home. Amid the uncertainty, Christy begins to find a new kind of support in the surrounding community.
