Mouse

Da vennskapet med bestevenninnen brått tar slutt, må Minnie finne en ny retning i livet.

It is the summer of 2002, and the final year of high school lies ahead for best friends Minnie and Callie. Callie is the star of the school's drama classes, while Minnie remains somewhat in her shadow. Their lives are also worlds apart: Callie comes from a wealthy family, while Minnie lives in a cramped flat with her mother. When the friendship comes to a tragic end, Minnie finds unexpected support in Callie's mother, who sees her in a way no one else does.
MOUSE is an exceptionally well-observed and heartfelt portrait of grief. Though the subject matter is heavy, the film also has a lightness and humour that balance out the gravity. It had its world premiere in Berlin earlier this year.
