PALESTINE CINEMA DAYS / Fidaa + Foragers
For andre år på rad tar Filmarbeidere mot folkemord del i bevegelsen for palestinske stemmer under Palestine Cinema Days - den største filmfestivalen i Palestina. Over hele verden vises filmer fra deres festivalprogram 2. november - og vi tar del her i Oslo, på Vega Scene.
I samarbeid med Trap, Norske Filmregissører, Oslo/Fusion Film Festival og Aksjonsgruppa for Palestina viser vi kortfilmen Fidaa av Khaled Tuaima og Jumena Manna sin film Foragers. Visningen er gratis, men hent ut billett via lenke over.

The film follows Fidaa Abu Maryam on her journey to wield storytelling as a psychological shield. By gathering the testimonies of Gazan women, she transforms their narratives into a living archive of feminist memory, defying oblivion and reclaiming the self from the heart of the ruins.
Foragers, 65 min hybrid film, 2022 Palestina, Jumana Manna
Foragers moves between documentary and fiction to depict the dramas between the Israeli Nature Protection Authority and Palestinian foragers. With a wry sense of humor, the film captures the inherited love, resilience and knowledge of these traditions, over an eminently political backdrop.
