TREKKFUGLER (2024) by Silvia Rossi
Trekkfugler is a dialogue driven satirical short film about the duality towards the belief that we should live sustainably, in contradiction with the life standards we are not willing to give up. Trekkfugler uses Norway as a scenario for a large-scale representation of contradictions that are both collective and personal between embracing the social and cultural advantage of economic stability and condemning the consequences of capitalism on the environment.

Two friends spend a weekend in a luxurious cabin in the woods discussing life choices and their concerns about climate change. Contradictions arise from their actions, lifestyle, and attitudes. Their attempt to connect with nature feels forced and awkward, often interrupted by technology and challenged by the almost sinister presence of a flock of starlings.
FASADE (2024) by Ingrid Liavaag and Ingri Enger Damon

Fasade is an experimental short film exploring the themes of generational patterns and repetitive human behavior, and merge this with slow cinemas hyper focus on something slow and mundane. The film explores how the everyday woman in her everyday life somehow misses her cue for the possibility of change - she is too busy repeating her ingrained patterns. By exaggerating a moment of vulnerability, we seek to expose and reveal recognizable flaws that we all think no one sees.
The three female characters are portrayed simultaneously on screen. Their situations interweave and affect each others narrative, without them directly being together.
Three women,
three places,
three similar conflicts.
Their repetitive patterns, their stagnating relationships, and a mundane situation that derails
launches them into a hyper focused rollercoaster ride that potentially could make them change - will they?

…and, last but not least, a little surprise screening is awaiting for you.
